HIGH QUALITY December 6, 2012
Reviewer: L.L.
Very nice packaging, great product goes on smooth drys quickly and comes off with a warm wash cloth easy! Left my face so soft and hydrated, I really like this brand I am going to try their other products.

Pre-view December 6, 2012
Reviewer: ChiChi from TUCSON, ARIZONA, US
I really have no semblance of a firm facial cleansing habit. I sometimes cleanse, sometimes exfoliate, often times not. So I wanted to get into the habit of doing something that would be good for my skin especially in the heat of Arizona!
The FANDANGO muds are world-renowkned. I've seen ranting and raving about them all over the net so I decided to look for 'em on eBay where I knew they'd be a few bucks cheaper AND I could use my PayPal to pay for it instead of a card (let me know if you need a link to it). This one came in the glass jar pictured above...17.6oz and all. It's blue and came creamy - if yours comes dry, just add a bit of water and it'll return to the creamy state - and is pretty homogeneous. Well, I DID see some pieces of what looked to be sea salt in there but they numbered very few.
What I did:

1) Used a facial cleanser first. Other reviewers really stressed using some sort of cleaning product FIRST.
2) Patted face dry and applied the Mud Mask. It goes on blue and pretty much remains blue the entire time.
3) Left it on for about 20mins? I didn't watch the time too closely, unfortunately, so I'm just guessing. Instructions say 5 to 10.
4) Mine came brand new in the box with the sponge so I used water to wash it off.

Concerns -
I'm really doubtful that my face was fully clean before I applied this mud. Others have noticed that if there face wasn't completely clean, they experienced breakouts in the days after.
It burned.
Like not an intense burn but a low-key tingling sensation that was definitely bearable but a little bit disconcerting because it has been over a decade since I last used a face mask. It burned for the first ten or fifteen minutes and after that it dwindled.
I'll update my review in two weeks to let everyone know how it went.

Conclusion -
Weirdly enough, my hands were super soft for a few hours after this lolol. My face was just as soft too and felt really clean. I did put on moisturizer though and my skin fairly drank that up. I didn't wear makeup at all that day so once it was clean, it remained that way.

Will update in a few weeks with overall performance.
